Fair 
The date has been set for the 2008 Wine Fair! It
will be Sunday, February 24, 2008.
Thank you for
your previous participation and helping to make last year's MWS
Wine Fair a great event. We hope that you will enter wines
again this year. The wine fair is coming fast (Feb.
24, 2008!), so please review your available wines and get your
entry form sent off while you are thinking about it.
Each year the
Missouri Winemaking Society (MWS) Wine Fair committee
strives to improve our annual wine competition. No
changes in the rules or wine classifications were made for
2008. A summary of deadlines and entry information is
below, but please read the entire document to familiarize
yourself with rules and as an aid is filling out the entry
forms.
Deadlines:
Deadline for entry form/fee: January
21, 2008
(MAIL ENTRY FORM/FEE BEFORE MAILING

Deadline for shipped entries: Arrive
by Feb 20, 2008
(MWS Members bring entries to March
meeting)
Deadline for delivery to site:

$8 per entry, ($6 per entry for MWS
members)
No limit on number of entries
Max. 2 categories for the same wine
No label on bottle except wine fair

Cork (still wines) or wired stopper
(sparkling wines)
Label competition is $1.00 per label
(one free entry into label competition when you enter 3 or
more wines)
